Essay Questions Answer the following four questions. Please include your answers on separate sheets with your application. Your ability to communicate your ideas in writing is critical to a successful career in management. The MBA Admissions Committee will evaluate each applicant’s essays for clarity, succinctness, and creativity.

Essays are evaluated for clarity, style, maturity, and relevance to the degree. Each question should be at least one page and no greater than two pages.

A. In your own words, define leadership and how graduate management education augments this skill on an individual basis.

B. The Global pressures that shape the business environment change constantly. What force do you feel will be the most omnipresent as then next century begins?

C. Please discuss career objectives you expect to achieve within five years after graduation and how your graduate business education at CSULB will help prepare you for those objectives.

D. Please discuss the particular skills and talents you will bring to the MBA Program and the MBA class.
