Please discuss your short-term and long-term career goals. How will your academic background and prior work history, coupled with a Smith MBA degree aid you in achieving those goals? (Please limit your response to 2 pages.)  

2. Please respond to 2 of the following essays

ESSAY 1

Smith’s tagline is “Leaders for the Digital Economy.” What are the characteristics of a good leader? Also, discuss your leadership skills. (Please limit your response to 1 page.)  

ESSAY 2

If salary was not a factor and your living expenses were covered, what would you do for a living and how would you spend your time? (Please limit your response to 1 page.)  

ESSAY 3

Discuss a significant change you have made to an organization for which you have worked. How did you identify the needed change and manage the implementation process for the change? What were the results? (Please limit your response to 1 page.)  

3. OPTIONAL ESSAY

Please use this essay to provide the admissions committee with additional information that will assist us in evaluating your candidacy (for example, an explanation for gaps in employment history or an undergraduate grade point average that is less than 3.0).
